How to find and read a Komatsu part number

We are a Komatsu parts export quotation site: you look up a part number and we quote, with no online ordering. This page covers four things — where a number comes from, what it looks like, how to look it up here, and what to do when nothing matches.

Where a number comes from
The most reliable source is the parts book for your machine. After that: the marking or nameplate on the part itself, the original packaging label, and the number on the old part. A parts book is tied to a model and a serial range, which is why it makes the fewest mistakes.
What a number looks like
Digits and letters mixed, with no fixed grouping. Every shape below really exists in our database:
01010-80640 07063-01210 21T-60-31410 707-01-0K773 209-60-76211
How to look it up
Paste the number into the search box on the home page — no registration, one number per line, whole lists accepted. A hit shows the genuine price, the aftermarket price, the weight, and the interchangeable and superseded numbers for that part.
If nothing matches
Three usual reasons: a typo; the number is old or has already been superseded (check its interchangeable and superseded numbers); or we simply do not carry it. Sending us the number for a manual check is the fastest route.
What a quote needs
A part number and a quantity. Model and year are optional but helpful. Pricing terms are all on the "Quotes & Lead Time" page.

Common questions

Do Komatsu part numbers have a readable structure?
There is no single public grouping table that applies across all series. The number identifies the part, and on the same machine different assemblies often start with different characters. So we do not guess from the grouping: we work from the number itself and from the interchange and supersession the manufacturer publishes.
Where do I find the part number on my machine?
On the marking or nameplate of the part, in the parts book supplied with the machine, or on the original packaging. The most reliable is the parts book for your model. One caveat: we do not supply parts books — that is a different kind of page and it is not built yet.
Can I search by machine model, for example PC200?
Not yet. This site looks up by part number. Searching the other way, from a model to part numbers, needs a model-to-part mapping that we do not hold yet. That part is deliberately last, and we will not promise half of it.
If a number is not found, does that mean you do not have the part?
No. We can only answer whether that number is in our database. When it is not, send it to us for a manual check — that is faster than trying variations on the page.

This page covers look-ups only. Pricing, freight, customs and lead-time terms are all on the "Quotes & Lead Time" page.
